WHISTLEBLOWING & ETHICS REPORTING
MFLC has established a Whistleblowing & Ethics Reporting mechanism in accordance with the Whistleblowers Protection Act (Law No. 16/2019), the MFLC Ethics and Whistleblowing Policy, and the Ethics Committee Charter.
MFLC maintains a zero-tolerance approach towards fraud, corruption, misconduct, unethical behavior, retaliation, and other violations under the Ethics and Whistleblowing Policy.

The mechanism is intended to:
Promote integrity, transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct across MFLC
Provide a confidential reporting channel for ethical concerns and misconduct
Ensure protection of whistleblowers
Facilitate fair and independent review and investigation of complaints
Support compliance with applicable laws, regulations, governance requirements, and ethical standards
Review & Investigation Process
Step 1 – Submission
Complaint is submitted through one of the approved reporting channels.
Step 2 – Initial Assessment
The Ethics Committee reviews whether the matter falls within its jurisdiction and whether sufficient information has been provided.
Step 3 – Registration or Referral
Where applicable, the complaint will be formally registered and investigated. Matters outside jurisdiction may be referred to relevant authorities.
Step 4 – Investigation
The Ethics Committee may:

Summon relevant individuals

Conduct investigations

Recommend corrective or disciplinary action

Engage external advisors/legal counsel where required and approved
Step 5 – Investigation Timeline
Investigations should generally be completed within 21 working days. Where additional time is required, an extension of up to 30 days may be applied in accordance with the Policy.
Step 6 – Findings & Action
Investigation findings, recommendations, corrective actions, and escalation actions may be documented and reported in accordance with MFLC procedures.
The Ethics Committee is responsible for overseeing ethical standards, handling whistleblower disclosures, monitoring ethical risks, recommending preventive measures, and promoting a culture of ethics and integrity within MFLC.
Anonymous complaints may also be submitted.
How to submit a report
