MFLC is a private entity structured as a financial institute, wholly-owned locally and duly operating under a license from and governed by the central bank, Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA)
Maldives Finance and Leasing Company Private Limited (MFLC) commenced operations in June 2002. Establishing a formal leasing industry in the Maldives being an initiative of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA), with the primary objective being to diversify the Maldivian financial sector and to instill healthy competition amongst its players.
With over two decades of providing innovative lease and finance solutions to our customers, we are established as one of the leading providers of customer-centric financial solutions via an array of customised lease and loan products.

Tree Top Investments Pvt. Ltd acquired ownership of MFLC in April 2014, in partnership with Champa Brothers Maldives Pvt. Ltd. As the majority shareholder – Tree Top Investments Pvt. Ltd, represents a private investment company that is owned by a group of successful investors of the Maldives, with each shareholder being acclaimed with years of experience and success stories from diverse business sectors.
